Francesco Parisi (Univ. of Minnesota and Univ. of Bologna) has been awarded the EALE award during the 2018 EALE conference in Milan. He will deliver a lecture at the next conference (in Tel Aviv in september 2019), which will then be published in the EALE official journal, the Review of Law and Economics. To honor professor Parisi’s prize, several journals in which he published his work made it freely available and posted an announcement: Review of Law and Economics, Supreme Court Economic Review, International Review of Law and Economics.
Göran Skogh Award
Adam Hal Spencer (University of Nottingham) has been awarded this year in Milan the 2018 Göran Skogh Award. As a recall, the foundation Forum för Rättsekonomi (Forum for Law and Economics), in cooperation with EALE, awards a prize for the best paper presented by a young scholar each year at the EALE Annual Conference. The prize is given in the memory of Göran Skogh, first President of EALE.
