CALL FOR PAPERS
DEADLINE: APRIL 1, 2025
The European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) welcomes submissions for its 42nd annual conference on September 18-19, 2025. The conference is organized by BI Norwegian Business School and the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo.
More information at eale.org and submission [here] (by April 1, 2025)
Submissions must be original and not yet published. All topics within law and economics are welcome. However, we especially encourage authors with papers dealing with environmental policy, public procurement and natural resource management to submit. You can submit up to two papers but present only one. If you have two papers accepted, a co-author may present the second. Policy reports are eligible if they deal with very important and timely issues. Submitting a draft is possible, but we will give preference to full papers.
The Göran Skogh Award will be awarded to the most promising paper presented at the EALE Conference by a young scholar. To qualify for the award, all the authors must have obtained their PhD no later than May 2023. The winner will receive EUR 1,000, to be shared among the authors.
Presenters must confirm their attendance by registering to the conference. To minimize the number of empty slots at the conference, papers will be excluded if presenters miss the registration deadline.
Registration fee (including EALE membership): € 360 for regular participants and € 180 for Ph.D. students.
Hotel reservations: Oslo is a busy city, especially in September. Please, do not leave accommodation to the last minute. Guidance on accommodation for the conference will be published at eale.org.
